Time Travelers Message #9
— The Roles we play —

Just imagine that all humans are playing roles - both roles of working to upgrade humans and roles of working for control and downgrading humans. Many of us Time Travelers have gotten into the Earthling roles (this time frame) so well that many of us don't have memories of who we are and why we came back to make sure Earth doesn't take the turn down the wrong pathway again. It is time for us all to awaken to the fact that we ARE Time Travelers as well as the roles that each of us are playing. Many times I've heard people talk about "The Awakening" or "The Quickening" as Art Bell talks about it on his radio show (he has written a book entitled The Quickening). We are right into that time frame and the people that use those terms are Time Travelers themselves. My feeling is that Art Bell is into it bigtime and that is why he has such bad back pain. It's called the "pain of resistance". When he finally wakes up to the fact that HE IS A TIME TRAVELER the back pain will go away. He only has to admit it to himself, not anyone else. His role is to bring the words "The Quickening" to the 14 million people all over the world that listen to his radio show. . He is also bringing other Time Travelers to his radio show to explain what is going on and letting the audience realize that there is a huge change occuring all over this Earth during this time frame and that we will have an incredible awakening to who we are and what we are doing here at this time.

I keep hearing different Time Travelers each night talk about their missions.. There is a part of me that wants to shout "Don't you realize that YOU are a Time Traveler coming back from the future time frame of 6450 AD to make sure you have a viable life at that future time????"

I have contacted one of them that is taking the reality of that role into consideration. His name is Alan Clements and he authored an incredible new book entitled Instinct for Freedom. Part One is about "The Struggle for Freedom". That includes internal freedom as well as the external freedom that comes from where we live on Earth in this human lifetime. Part Two is entitled "Consciousness, Meditation, and the Great Unknown". He tells us about the "diamond mind" in the part entitled "Awareness Liberates, Not the Desire for Freedom". He shares with us "The diamond mind also knows the cessation of suffering - the unconditioned freedom of nirvana - that place beyond time. And the diamond mind knows without a doubt the requisites of consciousness that progressively lead to the liberation from suffering - awareness of the mind, right now. When awareness becomes mature, unremitting wisdom will dispel the most transparent veils of ignorance. Then the liberated mind will appear, luminous, radiant, and free. We call this the diamond mind." My feeling is that my mind has become liberated by the awareness of being a Time Traveler from the future. That gives me the realization that I don't just have one lifetime and that we all have chosen to make sure we develop a more loving and peaceful world for the Future Earth. Then in the part entitled "Looking Back, Then and Now" he shares with us "Integrating these states within one's body, within form, as a sexual being living in the world - creating, working, communicating - can be and almost always is, disorienting. Almost every astronaut who goes into space and experiences weightlessness, upon coming back to Earth, back into gravity, says how depressing it is." My question to you is if the awareness comes to you that you are a Time Traveler from Future Earth, would that depress and disorient you or would that elevate your reason for being here?

Part Three is "World Dharma - Liberation through Living". The term "awakening" is in two of the sections and they are "Awakened Presence - A Liberating Intimacy" and "The Reawakening of Beauty". At the end of the section "Love Sets Us Free" he states "I ask myself as often as I need to: Can I renew my courage to love? Can I be in direct communion with myself, others, and the world, simultaneously? We are in this together. We need each other to actualize our full potential to love, our full potential to liberate ourselves and each other, together as we evolve life into the future." I would like to rearrange those words slightly and say "We are in this together. We need each other to actualize our full potential to complete our missions, our full potential to liberate Time Travelers, together as we evolve life into the future of Earth."

Alan Clements was the first American to become a Buddhist monk in Burma, where he lived for the good part of a decade. Since leaving the monastery, he has become a spiritual maverick, working for global human rights, and teaching his contemporary understanding of liberation to audiences around the world.. In 1995, he co-authored The Voice of Hope the internationally acclaimed book of conversations with Aung San Suu Kyi, 1991's Nobel Peace laureate and leader of her country's non-violent struggle for freedom. He presently teaches retreats and speaks to audiences on the fundamental importance of trusting one's own deepest experience. His website is www.worlddharma.com

"If you assume there's no hope, you guarantee that there will be no hope. If you assume that there is an instinct for freedom, that there are opportunities to change things, there's a chance you may contribute to making a better world. That's your choice." --- Noam Chomsky
